Self Care and Inner Stability
Updated: Aug 30
Inner stability is not the absence of stress or difficult emotions. It is the capacity to stay grounded even when circumstances are demanding. Self care is one of the most direct paths to building that capacity.
Many people associate self care with occasional indulgence, a spa day or a holiday. While those can be valuable, real inner stability is built through small, consistent practices woven into everyday life.
Practices that support inner stability:
Maintain regular sleep and eating rhythms, as they form the physical foundation of emotional regulation.
Build in brief daily pauses rather than waiting for a full day off.
Notice early signs of overwhelm instead of pushing through until you hit a wall.
Stay connected to people who support your wellbeing rather than drain it.
Inner stability is something you can actively train, much like a muscle. If you would like guided support in building yours, I would be glad to welcome you for a first session at www.greenliving-coaching.ch.
